If you chronically criticize, judge, shame, blame, guilt, harass, ridicule, demean, gossip about, holler at, or try controlling others, it's because you treat yourself the same way.
Self-acceptance starts with an honest proclamation of this statement: "I'm doing the best I can with what I've got."
If you think you could/should be doing better, that's why no one else meets your expectations either.
