Concerning all acts of initiative (and creation), there is one elementary truth, the ignorance of which kills countless ideas and splendid plans: that the moment one definitely commits oneself, then providence moves too. Angel midwives congregate around us; they assist as we give birth to ourselves, to that person we were born to be, to the one whose destiny was encoded in our soul, our daimon, our genius.
This message ties back to my first week of writing this year, where Seth Godin describes the importance of picking yourself. Minus the bold move of embracing the tension of this might work, and it might not, you're not I positioned for peaceful, loving joy as a resting state. And you'll always keep life and everything it has to offers out in front of you, just out of reach, hoping to one day be happy. Pressfield touches upon a vital aspect of this management process; don't do it alone. Turn inward to access the divine power that lives in all of us.
"Whatever you can do, or dream you can, begin it. Boldness has genius, magic, and power in it. Begin it now." Johann Wolfgang von Goethe
