I'm finding the habit mentality a slippery slope. People are saying things like: "Once I form a habit, then it will become easier." What they're focused on is the "easier" part. What they're hoping for is to remove themselves from the process somehow. Once they're no longer involved, agency dissolves, as does empowerment. It doesn't take 21 days to form a habit; it takes consciously managing one decision at a time until what you do becomes who you are--think years, not days.
