Quite possibly, the most substantial amount of resistance between where someone is and where they want to be is the gap between who they are and who they want everyone to think they are.
What's the most significant risk you'd run if everyone knew who you really were?
To begin shrinking the distance between your two selves, start by acknowledging your gap, allowing yourself to embody it and be necessarily humiliated by it.
If you can't face your own gap, you'll always be defined by it, scared of it, and trapped inside it.
Once this goal is accomplished, then you're free, and rather than pursue the remainder of your goals, they pursue you.
"We all have two lives, the life we live, and the unlived life within us. Between the two stands resistance." Steven Pressfield
