Each Tuesday, I have the opportunity to work with some clients in New York City and quite possibly, the very best part of my day is observing the divine Flow in everything and everyone around me. Not because things are perfect but precisely because they're not.
Imperfection is relatable, takes the pressure off of having to measure up and helps me maintain a spirit of humility and grace.
When I look at others, I allow the goodness in me to see the goodness in them. Gazing at humanity with loving, forgiving and patient eyes permits everyone the freedom to be who they are, as they are, which offers reciprocity, keeping me free to be who I am.
I refer to this as leading a YES lifestyle, which has to be conscious when so much of the world is saying NO right now. With the prevalence of so much turmoil and hatred in the world, the best we can do is choose to be light and love in the lives of others, and if you're breathing, you too are equipped to live from an abundant space of Peace, Love, and Joy.
May we sit in solidarity with everyone who is suffering, justly and unjustly, and share our resources of time, our physicality, our voices, and at the very least, a smile with our neighbors.
"If you judge people, you have no time to love them." Mother Teresa
