We can look to the breath for wisdom on how to be in the world.
Doesn't compare itself to other breaths
Doesn't try to please other breaths
Doesn't worry about breaths from the past or future
Doesn't define itself by how well it breathes
Doesn't procrastinate taking a breath
Doesn't operate in urgent states, waiting till the last second to breathe
Always participates in the fullness of the present moment
Always accepts each breath as a gift of grace
Always takes care of itself so it can take care of everything else
When we tune into our natural processes, we stop searching for answers because we discover from within.
"I took a deep breath and listened to the old bray of my heart: I am. I am. I am." Sylvia Plath
