Over the last 5 years, I've been healing my MindBodySpirit® by way of living live as a series of spiritual practices.
I know, I know, what does Spirit mean?
It's probably best to start by saying what it doesn't mean, which is religion.
When I think of Spirit...
- The life force within and around all living things
- That which connects Mind and Body
- The part of us that feels
- That which is both Mystery and endlessly knowable
- Peace, Love, and Joy--expressed
Rather than develop good habits, which comes along with a lot of pressure and has negative connotations; I choose to live on purpose and engage activities that articulate my Values.
When I operate with that level of intention, life becomes a Spiritual experience, where everything connects and has meaning and flows.
As a result, I'm the happiest I've ever been in my life, and my health has followed.
If I could offer any advice, I would say to not do anything to become worthy and do everything to express your inherent worth.
"Spiritual practice is not just sitting and meditation. Practice is looking, thinking, touching, drinking, eating, and talking. Every act, every breath, and every step can be practice, and can help us become more ourselves." Thich Nhat Hanh
