In my post yesterday, I discussed how a lack of curiosity, more than motivation, was the reason we fail to reach our goals.
When I searched a picture with the keyword curiosity, mostly pictures of children came up.
I thought: Where are all the curious adults?
It dawned on me; our curiosity is buried under layers and stress, exhaustion, and worry.
As a culture, we do not live in environments conducive to inquiry, wonder, and awe.
At the very same time, I know there are many seekers of curiosity, hence the explosion of yoga, meditation, and spiritual practices.
Of course, every day, every artist, scientist, musician, freelancer, and athlete reveals their curiosities in their craft, and for that, I'm inspired and thankful.
